In the beginning, they show a character walking the street, with the camera following him. The title sequences show hints the location of the film, as in the middle of the opening they show a sign above the door that say 'Hong Kong' in the background. They also show the character carrying a paper bag in the beginning which they later reveal that their was a gun in the paper bag. This is not similar to the departed as they show nothing in the character hands but only a watch on his wrist. In the title sequences the character face is unknown, as the character is always wearing sunglass in the opening.
